Oyster Roast 2011 Great Success
OBYC’s 3rd Annual Oyster Roast was a rousing success on many levels. First, the weather couldn’t have been better, 70 degrees and sunny. It was quite a nice respite between days of unusual cold and rain.
Second, our new Food and Beverage Manager, Brian McCarthy, provided quite the feast with bushels of fresh Oysters, Italian Sausage dogs with peppers and onions, hot dogs, potato salad, Cole slaw, chili, homemade squash casserole, and banana pudding for dessert. (More Pictures)
More than 80 members gathered on the Oyster Deck and shucked oysters, enjoyed Yuengling on draft, warm sunshine and friendly conversation. With a name like Oyster Bay Harbour, our Oyster Roasts have become a tradition that is sure to please!
