Join us for a Ladies Luncheon with Linda Penfold
On Thursday June 14, Linda Penfold, a reproductive physiologist working with endangered species will be the guest speaker at our monthly Ladies’ Luncheon. Linda obtained her PhD at the Zoological Society of London/University College London. She came to the US and worked at the US Department of Agriculture and for the Smithsonian’s National Zoo before coming to Florida and working with White Oak Conservation Center.
Downsizing as a result of tough economic times, eliminated the position in Feb 2010 when she initiated a consortium with several other zoos in the region (Disney, Jacksonville Zoo, Palm Beach Zoo, Birmingham Zoo, AL, North Carolina Zoo).
Linda is also adjunct faculty professor at University of North Florida where she teaches ” Solving reproductive challenges in endangered species”.
It will be an outstanding opportunity to learn how we can help save endangered species. Following is the Luncheon menu.
